One must listen before one hears. Listening for what is truly motivating each party toward their respective goals is the key to a successful mediation.

Having litigated, mediated, tried and argued appeals in hundreds of cases in Circuit and Federal Courts, the key to success has always been, understanding what motivates each participant. We all come to the table with unique backgrounds, biases, experiences and negotiation styles. One of my roles as a mediator is to recognize the intangible elements that affect meaningful dialogue and negotiation. By understanding these elements I am able to guide the dialogue and negotiations through the pitfalls that often needlessly result in an impasse.

I am committed to the process of mediation and the goal of resolution. I will work hard to gain an unbiased understanding of your case and the other sides' case. I AM NOT A MESSAGE CARRIER! I will tirelessly explore the evidentiary, legal and practical issues in your case to facilitate meaningful dialogue and negotiations. I will offer creative options and solutions for the parties to consider. I view myself as a guide that will take you from conflict to resolution providing a road map that is specifically customized for your case with all of its unique elements. But this road must be traveled with objectivity.

Significantly, objectivity through insight comes only from having been in your seat at mediation. I have been blessed with the experience of having represented defendants and plaintiffs throughout my career. I have had the pleasure of working with almost every major insurance carrier and major self-insured company doing business in Florida. I have also had the honor of representing injured parties throughout the State of Florida. I have prepared hundreds of Case Evaluation Reports for the Insurance Companies and hundreds of Demand Packages for injured Victims. I have litigated and tried cases in both capacities. I KNOW BOTH SIDES OF THE FENCE . . .

I look forward to successful mediations for all.
